Login problems

That’s OK! Resetting your password is quick and easy. On the login page here, click the ‘Forgotten your password?’ link and enter the email address or mobile number registered to your account. We'll send you an email or SMS with a link to create a new password. If the email or SMS doesn't arrive within a few minutes, please check your junk or spam folder. Also make sure you're using the same email address or mobile number you registered with, as the reset link can only be sent to the details we hold on file. A few helpful tips: Check caps lock before resetting your password. Passwords are case sensitive, so it's worth double checking you're typing your password correctly before requesting a reset. If your browser saves your passwords automatically, remember to update it after resetting, otherwise your browser may keep trying to log in with the old one. If you've requested several reset emails, always use the link in the latest one, as older links may no longer work. Still can't get back into your account? Please call us on 020 3818 7470 or email us at thecrew@moneyboat.co.uk. We’re here to help 8am to 7pm Monday to Friday (excl. Bank Holidays).

If you've encountered the following error message while trying to register your Moneyboat account: "We're having issues registering an account with that email address. Please try using your mobile phone number instead. Already registered?" This usually means we don't have an existing application on file for you. The most common reason for this is that you haven't yet registered for an online portal account. Even if you’ve got an open loan with us, you won't be able to log in until you've created your account. You can register here in just a few minutes. If you've already registered, please check that you're entering the same email address or phone number you used when applying for your loan. The system will only recognise the details we hold on file for you. Once you're logged in, you'll be able to view your loan summary, make payments, and manage your account online. If you’re still having trouble, please call us on 020 3818 7470 or email us at thecrew@moneyboat.co.uk. We’re here to help 8am to 7pm Monday to Friday (excl. Bank Holidays).

To update your bank details, please call us on 020 3818 7470 or email us at thecrew@moneyboat.co.uk. We’re here to help 8am to 7pm Monday to Friday (excl. Bank Holidays). Our Customer Service team will be able to update your details securely. Please note, we can only accept bank details registered to the address used in your Moneyboat account. To see the address currently used in your account: Log in or register here. If you’ve recently changed address, please contact us and we can update that for you. For reference, our help centre article on updating your personal details can be found here. It’s worth noting that we can only accept UK bank accounts. We’re also unable to accept the following: Prepaid cards: Cards from providers such as Pockit or Suits Me aren't linked to a full UK bank account, so they can't be verified against your application details. E-money cards: Cards issued by e-money providers such as Monese or Wise can't be accepted, as these are electronic money institutions rather than fully licensed UK banks. Monzo and Starling are accepted. Credit cards: Repayments must come from a debit card linked to your current account. We're unable to take repayments from a credit card. Third party cards: The card must be registered in your own name. Cards belonging to a partner, family member, or anyone else can't be accepted – even with their permission. Business account cards: Your card must be linked to a personal current account, not a business account. International cards: We can only accept debit cards issued by a UK bank and registered to a UK address. If your card falls into any of these categories, you'll need to provide details for a personal UK current account held in your own name before we can update your records. If you're unsure whether your card will be accepted, our customer service team will be happy to check for you.

If you're having trouble uploading documents to your account, whether that's payslips, bank statements, or proof of ID, it's usually down to one of the following reasons: The file isn't in an accepted format We can only accept documents in JPEG, PNG, or PDF format. If your file is saved in another format, it will be rejected. Most devices allow you to convert files easily, for example, you can save a Word document as a PDF, or take a screenshot of a document to create a PNG or JPEG. The file size is too large Uploads are limited to a maximum of 2MB per file. If your document exceeds this, try compressing it before uploading. Reducing the image resolution, scanning at a lower quality setting, or using a free online compression tool are all quick ways to bring the file size down. You're trying to upload multiple files at once Files can only be uploaded one at a time. If you have several documents to send, please add them individually rather than selecting them all together. Once your first document has been uploaded, look for the plus icon next to it. Clicking this will let you attach an additional file. Alternatively, if your documents run across multiple pages, you may find it easier to combine them into a single PDF before uploading, as long as the final file stays under the 2MB limit. If you've checked the above and are still unable to upload your documents, please call us on 020 3818 7470 or email us at thecrew@moneyboat.co.uk. We’re here to help 8am to 7pm Monday to Friday (excl. Bank Holidays). We may be able to arrange for you to send your documents to us directly by email as an alternative.
