Can I repay my loan with a credit card?

We're sorry, but we can't accept credit cards as a way to repay your loan. This is a rule set by our payments provider, and is designed to prevent one form of credit being used to repay another. To make a repayment, please use a debit card or direct bank transfer. Please get in touch if you need help adding your debit card or setting up a payment method. How do I change my repayment date?

You can change your repayment date by contacting us on 020 3818 7470. We’re open Monday to Friday, 8am to 7pm (excl. Bank Holidays). You can also email us at thecrew@moneyboat.co.uk, using ‘Repayment date change’ as your subject line. Please email us at least 4 working days before your next repayment to ensure we reach your email in time. Important to know: Changing your repayment date will change your loan agreement and may result in an increase in the amount of interest owed. We’ll outline this for you before making the change.

Using your Moneyboat account allows you to manage your loan in one place. You’re also able to: Update your personal details Repay your balance in full Make additional repayments Catch up on a missed repayment Apply for future loans with us directly Please note, your current loan needs to be repaid before applying for another.

How long does it take to pay off a loan?

A Moneyboat loan takes between two to six months to pay off, depending on the loan duration you choose in your application. You can also choose whether to pay off your loan in weekly or monthly instalments. If you already have a loan with us, you can see its duration and final repayment date in your Moneyboat account: Log in or register here. In your account, you’ll also be able to repay your loan in full without incurring any early repayment fees. Have a loan but haven’t registered your account yet? It’s easy. Just use the same email or mobile number you used during your application. If you’re worried that you won’t be able to repay your loan on time, please get in contact with us as soon as possible.
